Technologist and Presenter
Zoe Cunningham has 13 years experience working in the technology sector and is currently Managing Director of Softwire Technology.
Zoe is passionate about technology that changes how we live – e.g. apps that give us recipes and link to websites where we can buy the food and watch it being made - and about technological innovations that apply to every day life. Zoe also works with children & science, running a code club at Softwire for a local primary school and helping out with Maggie Philbin's Teen Tech.
Zoe began her broadcasting career in 2009, when she presented the online World Series of Backgammon. Since then she has presented countless backgammon shows, including appearing on Sky TV, and has worked her way up to be the foremost UK backgammon presenter.
Following this, Zoe has presented shows on poker and new music, on TV and radio. She now combines the broadcasting skills she developed with her scientific know-how as a technology presenter. Her most recent technology work is presenting new technology show Tech Talkfest.
Outside of her day to day work, Zoe volunteers at Ghanaian charity Ashanti Development, fundraising to bring clean water, micro-finance, health and hygiene to the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Zoe is a regular contributor to several technology blogs and has had articles published online at the Guardian and Computer Weekly.
