Right now, I'm reading (and simultaneously listening to the audiobook of) a great book called The Desire Map.
The premise of the book is that we want to achieve goals, so that we feel a certain way when we do. So what if we could work out how we want to feel, and work towards that directly? Especially as we work towards our goals.
I find that a lot of things that I feel I "should" do to progress my acting career do not make me feel good AT ALL, which is super demotivating. I'm enjoying thinking around what I could do to progress my goals, while also feeling good in the process.
